Limerick U16's

The Limerick U16's travelled to The Ragg to play Tipperary on Saturday 9th March last in
their first competitive match of 2013.
Caoimhe Lyons started as full forward but the supply from the backs was poor as Tipperary dominated the first
half. Limerick were 8 points down at half time.

In the second half both Meagan O Mara and Nicole Sheehan were introduced to bring the Monaleen
contingent to 3. Limerick were far more competitive in this half and the score finished Tipperary 3-8 to Limerick 1-3. The more promising second half performance is surely a sign of better days ahead.

County U14 School of Excellence
Four Monaleen girls, Claire Kelly, Aine Doyle, Shalini Kutur and Robyn McDonnell took part in the first U14 'School of Excellence' last Sunday in Ballyagran.

Two of Limericks top coaches Gary Kirby and Timmy Egan are coaching the girls for 3 weeks following which a county U14 panel will be selected. All 4 Monaleen girls did very well last Sunday which is promising.

Limerick Minors
The Limerick minors including Niamh Doyle & Aoife Hogan are continuing to train twice weekly with the county panel as they prepare for their next encounter at the end of March.

All-Ireland Colleges Camogie
Commiserations to Niamh Doyle and Laurel Hill who were defeated by St. Mary's of New Ross, Wexford in the All-Ireland B colleges final played last Saturday 9th March in Nenagh.
