Club notes 21st April

The Final round of group games in the U16 League were played on Thursday. Monaleen were away to Granagh Ballingarry. The girls played well from the start and there was little doubt about the outcome. The final score was Monaleen 7-15 Granagh Ballingarry 4-4. The result means that Monaleen top their group and progress to the Cup semi-final which will be played on May 2nd.

On Sunday afternoon our Junior 12 aside team played Murroe Boher away. This was a one-side affair and the Monaleen girls were too strong all over the field for their opponents. Some great scoring and a final score of Monaleen 6-28 to MB 0-3. 
This young team are progressing well and next week have a home game v Kilmallock to look forward to.

Our U14 girls played away to Kileedy on a beautiful Tuesday evening last week. A great team performance from Monaleen Camogie saw them win on a scoreline of 4-03 to 0-07, with goals from Amie O'Brien, Faye Coffey & Laura Southern (2). 
U14 girls play at home to Adare this Tuesday evening, throw in at 7pm. 

Our U12 team player Granagh Ballingarry away last Thursday in a challenge coming away with a strong win. They now play away to Bruff this Thursday evening, all matches are great prep for upcoming U12 blitzes and league games 

U11 girls also played away to Ahane U12 girls last Thursday, this game was good competitive match with plenty of good points to take from for our U11 team 

Well done to Caitlin Bonifil who is part of the Limerick Minor panel who won their All Ireland B Semi Final against westmeath last Saturday. 
They now play the All Ireland final V Laois, throw in at 1pm this Saturday in New 

Well done to Mia O'Halloran who along with her Castletroy College students is currently in India with HOPE charity.
